Male Engineer Passes Away of Electrocution for Placing Charger Near His Bed
ELECTROCUTION – A male engineer reportedly has died of electrocution for alleged plugging his phone charger near his bed.
Throughout the years, numerous individuals have died of electrocution in different circumstances. Some people got electrocuted while doing construction jobs while some of them were due to accident.
Several children also suffered and even died of electrocution after playing live wires or electrical outlets. Adults probably suffer electric shock due to accident and other unexpected incident.
Some individuals have suffered electrocution for using mobile devices while charging.
The Facebook page “PILIPINAS CONNECT” reported that a male engineer died of electrocution after placing a phone charger near his bed. The post circulates online and elicits comments from the online community.
The 23-year-old engineer identified as John Paul Tecson has been found dead inside his room. His colleagues got curious after the victim failed to come out of his room although it was already late.
Tecson’s colleagues opened his door and got shocked after they saw the victim’s lifeless body in the bed. The latter has been rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
According to the police investigation, the victim gets electrocuted because of the phone charges he placed near his bed. The incident happened at Dao, Capiz.
The authorities have also warned the public to avoid using mobile devices when charging.
