Leody de Guzman said this about the administration of two Aquino presidents
Labor leader Ka Leody de Guzman asked why the issues about the Marcoses were not resolved even though the Philippines already had two Aquino presidents (Cory Aquino and Noynoy Aquino).
In the history of politics in the country, the Aquinos and the Marcoses are among the popular clans. Throughout the years, there is a certain rivalry that has been going on between the two powerful political plans.
The late Senator Ninoy Aquino was a known critic of the Marcos regime. Many believed that the death of the former Senator was orchestrated by the former President.
Until now, two opposing groups are still airing their views and opinions about the Aquinos and the Marcoses. Ka Leody also shared his thoughts on this. The labor leader who is one of the presidential aspirants in the 2022 elections expressed disappointment in past administrations, based on the report from News5.
He said that until now, the supposed human rights violations of the Marcoses were not addressed properly. Ka Leody stressed that there are still a lot of things to do because it seemed that the issues against the Marcoses were just ignored.
“Tingin ko dapat ay repasuhin ulit yung mga usapin tungkol sa pamilya Marcos, tungkol sap era, sa mga human rights violation,” the labor leader said. Ka Leody also said that this was not done despite that two Aquino presidents were elected.
“Nagtataka nga ako eh bakit dalawagn president Aquino, pero hindi nila naaayos,” the presidential aspirant said.
Meanwhile, in a previous statement, Ka Leody said that he is confident that he will win the presidential race. He also encouraged the voters to not just consider the winnable factor in a candidate but also the track record. The labor leader also said that he does not believe the presidential surveys.
