Claudine Barretto Speaks About Her “Whirlwind” Romance with Milano Sanchez

Claudine Barretto opened up about her love life

Optimum Star Claudine Barretto described the relationship she had with Milano Sanchez as a “whirlwind.”

The actress was first linked to the brother of veteran journalist Korina Sanchez in October last year. It was when Claudine shared a sweet post with Milano on her Instagram page.

Her fans showed support for her love life. However, a month after that “soft launch,” intrigues came to attack their relationship. An issue about Milano’s alleged “former side chick” surfaced, but Claudine defended him.

Milano also defended Claudine when an allegation surfaced that the latter mistreated the former’s househelp. It was rumored that they called it quits in December last year.

In a recent interview, Claudine Barretto, based on the article in Pang-Masa, said that what she and Milano Sanchez had was a “whirlwind” romance.

She revealed that they only dated for a month, and for her, this could not really be considered a relationship.

“In all fairness naman sa kanya, no, I don’t think that’s counted, ‘yung one month, that was really a whirlwind relationship, it was a whirlwind friendship talaga siguro,” Claudine revealed.

She also said that she was thinking that they were really hitting it off as friends. When asked if they were really dating for a month, she answered, “parang ganu’n, oo.”

The actress felt that it was not yet the right time for her to love again. “And ang layo ng mundo niya sa mundo ko. Mahirap, mahirap talaga,” she added.

Claudine Barretto jokingly said that her takeaway from what happened was that when you are vulnerable, you should not fall in love. “‘Yun lang ‘yun. Saka medyo lumayu-layo tayo sa mga wakes (tawa ulit). Sa mga burol kasi medyo do’n ka nate-take home, eh,” she laughingly added.

Meanwhile, the Optimum Star was glad for the return of ‘Home Along Da Riles,’ the 90s sitcom that featured the late Comedy King Dolphy.
