Karen Davila slammed this basher
Seasoned Kapamilya news anchor Karen Davila reacted to a netizen who criticized her for getting infected.
Karen revealed in her recent Instagram post that she and her family tested positive for COVID-19. She shared that it was her 14-year-old son Lucas who tested positive first. Despite this, she is thankful that the symptoms are mild.
The journalist attributed this to the fact that they are all vaccinated and got their booster shots. “Our kids had fever, a scratchy throat, coughing. I experienced fatigue & a lump in my throat. Thank God we are all recovering very well!” she shared.
Karen Davila is also thankful that she was able to multi-task. While taking care of their kids, she was doing her show Headstart. Several friends of the TV Patrol news anchor offered their prayers for her and shared inspiring words.
However, there was one netizen who criticized her after she got infected. Karen shared in her Instagram Story a screenshot of her comment on the post of a news site about her health status. Below her comment, a netizen replied this: “All she does is travel and go out with her family to boracay.”
Karen clapped back at the basher. “‘All she does’??? Dude, I’ve been a full-time working mother all my life. Don’t you dare make mothers feel guilty for wanting a vacation & wanting to spend time with their kids? Get a life man!” she said.
In another IG Story, this was stated: “No to COVID shame.” She also said that it is fine if one person tested positive for the virus as it will get better. Karen Davila also encouraged her social media followers to protect themselves and the community. “Don’t hide it. Share it. Work on it together as a community,” Karen said.
