The video footage of a female thief stealing goods from a ‘tiangge’ goes viral online and elicits comments from the netizens.
Nowadays, robbery has been very rampant in various countries all around the world. A lot of suspects commit robbery due to extreme poverty and lack of job opportunities in the Philippines.
A Facebook user named Joanna Borja has shared the video footage of an elderly woman who stealthily picked up the plastic bag containing stolen goods. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that a lady wearing a black shirt is observing his surroundings while taking a glance at the plastic bag filled with stolen goods. The thief’s colleague is placing stolen items from the store to the plastic bag.
After filling the plastic bag with stolen clothes, the lady suspect picked up the large blue plastic bag and immediately ran away from the store. Her colleague stayed for a little while in front of the store before leaving.
The incident has been caught by a CCTV camera installed at a stall in Taytay, Rizal. The case of robbery continues to increase as the Christmas season approaches, the public is advised to be more vigilant during the holiday season.
