Beatrice Gomez shares excitement over Miss Universe 2021 upcoming competition.
MISS UNIVERSE 2021 – This is what Beatrice Luigi Gomez said about the upcoming international competition of Miss Universe 2021.
Beatrice Gomez of Cebu City is the one Rabiya Mateo passed the crown and title to. She will be representing the country in this year’s Miss Universe pageant and people are yearning for her success to bring home again the prestigious crown which, if it happens, will be the 5th for the country.
Tailing her in the list of winners during the local competition of the pageant are:
- Miss Universe Philippines Tourism 2021: Katrina Dimaranan of Taguig
- Miss Universe Philippines Charity 2021: Victoria Vincent of Cavite
- 1st runner-up: Maureen Wroblewitz of Pangasinan
- 2nd runner-up: Steffi Aberasturi of Cebu Province
In a previous article, Gomez has already packed her bags to Israel, the country that will host this year’s Miss Universe pageant. It will be held in the city of Eilat. Around 80 ladies from various countries will be competing against each other to bag the highly-coveted title. Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza will be crowning her successor on December 13, Philippine time.
When the Cebuana beauty flew to Eilat last Saturday, November 27, she wore a Francis Libiran outfit. She expressed her excitement to finally meet the girls of the competition. She also added about her grit to compete, “I’m ready to fight, more than ready to fight.”
In a report from PEP, Bea shared that she’s someone who travels light. She was able to compress her outfits for 16 days in five pieces of luggage. She narrated, “We actually spent weeks to prepare all of my outfits. Ang sabi nga ni Mama J [Jonas Gaffud], of all the Miss Universe representatives, ako lang yung pinaka-konti yung luggage na dala.”
