PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Friday (November 19)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area would bring cloudy to rainy condition over some parts of the country.
On Friday (November 19, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The low-pressure area would affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area has been last spotted at 205 kilometers east-northeast of Virac, Catanduanes, Camarines Provinces and Quezon. Possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.
“’Yung LPA na ito ay mababa naman ang tsansa na magdevelop into a tropical depression kaya posibleng in the next coming days, improving weather na tayo dyan sa eastern side ng Luzon,” Pagasa weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said.
The northeast monsoon would bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated light rains over provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Benguet and Abra.
The localized thunderstorms will bring similar weather condition over the entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands.
Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will experience a fair weather condition but isolated light rains are expected.
The weather agency also advised the public to take precautionary measure for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. The rest of Luzon, western Visayas, the rest of Visayas and Mindanao will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
