Female Passenger Falls Asleep on Fellow Commuter’s Shoulder Inside Jeepney
A female passenger went viral online after she accidentally fell asleep on the shoulder of a male commuter while riding a jeepney on the way to work.
Recently, Mike Stephen Villanueva shared his experience on social media along with a photo of himself and the woman who unknowingly leaned on his shoulder during the ride. The post quickly spread online and received different reactions from netizens.
According to Mike, he was on his way to work when the woman sat beside him inside the jeepney. After a few moments, he noticed that she seemed extremely tired and sleepy. Without realizing it, the woman slowly leaned her head on his shoulder and eventually fell asleep during the trip.
Instead of waking her up or moving away, Mike said he understood that the woman was probably exhausted from work or daily responsibilities, so he simply let her rest comfortably until it was time for him to get off the jeepney.
When the jeepney reached his stop, the woman finally woke up and immediately felt embarrassed after realizing what had happened. Mike assured her that everything was fine and there was nothing to worry about.
Before he left the jeepney, the woman thanked him and apologized for accidentally sleeping on his shoulder during the ride.
Villanueva also shared that the woman jokingly mentioned that he smelled good, which may have helped her sleep more comfortably. The unexpected conversation made both of them smile before parting ways.
The woman also got off at nearly the same area because she was also heading to work nearby. Before leaving, she asked for his Facebook account so she could send another apology and thank him again.
