A man selling cartons of instant noodles received heavy criticism online after stealing a child’s cellphone.
Recently, Bryan Sonza, a Facebook user, shared the modus of a man who allegedly took a child’s cellphone. The post quickly went viral on social media and gained reactions from the online community.
According to Sonza, the suspect was reportedly going around the area selling a carton of Lucky Me instant noodles in Barangay Paraiso, Purok Sta. Cruz. While moving around the neighborhood, the man allegedly entered a house and noticed a cellphone belonging to a child charging inside the home.
The suspect then allegedly took the cellphone and immediately left the area. Luckily, a witness reportedly saw what happened and quickly alerted others nearby. Residents immediately chased the man until he was eventually caught.
Bryan also claimed that the suspect was not alone and had three companions with him during the incident. However, the other individuals reportedly managed to escape before they could be identified or apprehended.
Many online users reacted strongly to the incident, especially because a child became the victim. Several netizens reminded parents and homeowners to stay alert and avoid leaving gadgets or valuable items unattended, even inside their own homes.
