The building owner allegedly ordered to cut the power and water supply after discovering that the two were being quarantine inside its building. The owner allegedly prohibit the entry of the team who supposed to bring the basic necessities of the two.

“Nu’ng papasok na po ‘yung team sa building hinarang po ng security guard sa utos daw po ng owner na hindi daw pupuwede pumasok,” CESU Hanzel Tolentino said.

The employer of the two quarantine patients reported the incident to the barangay and eventually reached the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU) officer of Quezon City. CESU personnel reported the incident to the police station for blotter.

Barangay Silangan officials picked up the patients to transfer them into another facility for the completion of their quarantine period.

However, the building owner denied the accusations and called it as baseless allegations. The owner said that their lawyer would attend the legal forum to address the issue.
