Disabled Father w/ No Hands Inspires Netizens for Selling Fishballs to Support Family
A disabled father with no hands earned praises from the online community for selling fishball to support his family despite health condition.
A PWD vendor identified as Noel Perez or popularly known as Mang Weng goes viral for working hard despite his disability. He is selling fishball to provide the financial necessities of his family.
Mang Weng finds it hard to prepare and cook his fishballs over a hot cooking pan because of his physical condition. Perez had to attach his one hand to the stump of the other arm which is also short when cooking.
The elderly vendor lost his hands in 1983 due to electrocution. He got electrocuted in an accident while working at a construction site. The PWD man did not give up and do his best to get a reliable source of income to survive.
Perez was able to send his two kids to school and one of his kids is now working abroad. However, he is still working because his kid’s salary is not good enough to cover their daily expenses and his wife still needs medications.
The online community is comparing the hardworking dad with no hands to other people who were engaging in illegal activities just to earn money although they have complete limbs.
