According to Police Lieutenant Jun Wacnag, chief of the Mangaldan Police Station, the PWD suspect and the victims were drinking and allegedly ended up being bullied by the cousin.

The suspect initially said that he simply let the two do what they were doing to him because he knew they were inebriated. He was forced to strike back as the victims started to make serious jokes.

The suspect was tampered with, and his arm was made to resemble a microphone. According to Wacnag, this is why the suspect was mocked. In the suspect’s defense, he was just defending himself against the cousin’s violence.

“Ganito na [kalagayan] ‘ko tapos tatawagin pa kong ganun. Sobrang sakit po maam kaya hindi ko na nakontrol ang sarili. Wala po silang karapatan na i-bully ako,” Frianeza said.

The cousin was rushed to the hospital, where one of them was in critical condition and unable to communicate. A frustrated homicide case is being prepared to be filed against Frianeza.
