PAGASA released an update about Inday PH, which is now in the typhoon category.
INDAY PH UPDATE – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest bulletin.
Super typhoon Inday, with the international name Bavi, weakened into a typhoon, according to an update from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday. It is also expected to enhance the southwest monsoon, or Habagat, which will affect western parts of the country this weekend.
Based on the latest update, wind signals were hoisted in several parts of the country.
At 10:00 PM, the center of the typhoon was located 485 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (23.0°N, 125.9°E). It has maximum sustained winds of 140 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 170 km/h, and central pressure of 960 hPa, moving northwestward at 25 km/h.

Typhoon Inday is expected to continue moving northwest toward southern Japan and the sea north of Taiwan before exiting the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on the morning of July 11. It is forecast to remain a typhoon throughout the period, while heavy rain and strong winds may still affect areas outside its forecast track and landfall point.
