Kathryn Bernardo gets immortalized at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.
Kapamilya superstar Kathryn Bernardo shared her reaction after the official unveiling of her Madame Tussauds wax figure.
Award-winning actress Kathryn Bernardo becomes the youngest Filipino icon with a wax figure at the world-famous attraction Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. The wax figure was officially unveiled on July 9, 2026, during a launch event at Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City.
The wax figure will be permanently displayed in Hong Kong. She joins the line of Filipinos with wax figures, such as Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, superstar Anne Curtis, and others.
Recently, as Kath’s wax figure was unveiled, she talked about her “twin,” a project that had been in the works for almost a year before the actress finally saw the finished masterpiece.
“We waited for like a year. When we did all the measurements and everything you saw, it’s a video. It was August of 2025,” she said.
Reacting to her wax figure, Kathryn added with excitement, “I got to meet my twin! And oh my gosh, they are amazing—the team behind Madame Tussauds, all the artists. I’m just happy. Masaya talaga ako. And today I’m just really, really grateful.”
Kathryn said she was overwhelmed with happiness during the unveiling, especially since she was surrounded by her family and close friends who came to celebrate the milestone with her.
She described the recognition as a rewarding moment after months of nonstop work, saying it served as a testament to the hard work and dedication she has poured into her career.
The actress also shared that seeing her wax figure in person for the first time was a surreal experience, admitting it was unlike anything she had ever felt before. Standing face-to-face with a lifelike version of herself left her in awe, making the achievement feel even more real.
She also gushed about how the little details were taken care of and the significance of the dress her wax twin wears.
The actress shared, “So, so really, it’s like a full-circle moment na and until today, I couldn’t believe it. So I’m just happy that I get to share this moment with everyone and with my family.”
