An artist created these John Lloyd Cruz and Dolphy action figures
Photos of Popoy Gonzales action figure that was inspired by the character of A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz in One More Chance surfaced online and this is the artist behind this.
The said movie was just among the blockbuster films that JLC did with Bea Alonzo. Its sequel A Second Chance was also a big hit.
Aside from Lloydie’s action figure, there were also Dolphy’s iconic roles Darna Kuno, as well as his character in a movie who drank the Banayad Whisky, based on the article in Philstar Lifestyle.
Gooeyduck’s Facebook Page shared these photos. The artist behind these action figures of popular Pinoy movie characters is Pato P.
He said that he made those toys just for fun. Reportedly, toy creator said on the Facebook Page that the action figure is a resin figure, hand-painted and hand-crafted.
“What you see on my social media accounts are all handmade figures I made for fun. All of them inspired by my love of pop culture and an ode to the Filipino culture,” the artist explained.
He also said that the availability of his creations depends on the time that he has. “I sell some of my figures, but the availability depends if I have the time or if I’m in the mood,” Pato P said.
