What will be the new TV project of Claudine Barretto?
Optimum Star Claudine Barretto shared that she is set to have her TV comeback after her showbiz break that took five years.
Claudine has been in the Philippine entertainment industry since she was 10 years old. Practically, she grew up in showbiz doing various TV shows and movies until she earned her star status.
Based on the article by entertainment columnist Aster Amoyo in Pang-Masa, the award-winning actress is excited for her showbiz comeback. Claudine shared that she will do a TV series on TV5 and this will be produced by ABS-CBN.
Aside from this, she is doing her comeback movie under Borracho Films and Viva Films and will be directed by Joel Lamangan. A report surfaced last March stating that Borracho Films said in an official statement that Claudine’s movie was “indefinitely shelved“.
It was said that Claudine Barretto also confirmed that her reunion movie with A-list actor Piolo Pascual will push through. They first worked together in the movie Mila in 2004. it was a hit movie under the direction of Olivia Lamasan.
The upcoming Claudine-Piolo movie will be under Star Cinema and will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina. However, it will no longer be the “2gether Un4ever” that was initially announced. It was said that the production will take place in Florence, Italy.
Meanwhile, Claudine’s legal fight against her estranged husband Raymart Santiago went controversial just recently. The Optimum Star stressed that Raymart is not fulfilling his duty as a father to their children Sabina and Santino.
Claudine Barretto even claimed that Jodi Sta. Maria, the current girlfriend of Raymart is a bad influence. For the Optimum Star, this was not the attitude of her ex-husband during his previous relationship.
