A source revealed this about the rumored network transfer of Lovi Poe
Rumor has it that Kapuso actress Lovi Poe is set to transfer to ABS-CBN, however, a source revealed something about this matter.
Lovi started her career in the entertainment industry under GMA-7 until she became one of the A-list actresses of the network. Currently, her TV series Owe My Love with Benjamin is airing since February 2021.
Amid her ongoing show, a rumor has surfaced saying that she will soon be a Kapamilya. Based on the article by entertainment columnist Jun Lalin in Abante, LVD Management, the talent management firm of Leo Dominguez and the one handling Lovi Poe is silent about this issue.
Lalin added that intrigues surfaced that the reason why the Premier Drama Actress wanted to transfer is that GMA-7 did not renew her contract anymore.
Although the manager of Lovi is mum on this rumored network transfer, the columnist said that a source who knows about the status of the actress in the Kapuso network revealed this information.
The source said that there is no truth that the actress-singer is already in ABS-CBN. It is still an unsettled matter because when the contract of Lovi ended, GMA is still showing interest to renew it. The source added that the manager of Lovi is still negotiating with the executives of the Kapuso network.
Although it is true that ABS-CBN is interested in Lovi after her contract with GMA expired but things should not be done in a hurry, the source said, especially that her series is still showing and the show contract is still until May.
The source also corrected the rumor that the GMA contract of Lovi Poe already expired last year. It is said that the contract just ended in March this year.
