This is how Jericho Rosales described the most challenging movie role he did
Award-winning actor Jericho Rosales recalled the toughest role he played in a movie as he said he was like a Marvel character fighting against Thanos.
Jericho is indeed one of the sought-after actors in his generation. From joining a contest in the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga, he was able to pave his way to stardom because of his talent and versatility.
Talking to PEP, the actor shared about the movie that he finds as the most challenging for him. He said that it was the movie Santa Santita.
The particular scene that brought out an intense emotion from him was the one with the late actor Johnny Delgado.
“One of the most difficult scenes that proved na sobrang hirap talaga ng character na iyon. Parang pinagtatawanan ko iyong pagiging pari niya. So, parang we were playing angel and devil and I was the devil,” Jericho Rosales shared.
He added that his co-actor was a big name in the industry while he was just a beginner at that time. Jericho also said that Johnny had so much power as an actor and it penetrated to him.
“Imagine, you are just a Marvel character and then you’re fighting against Thanos? Parang ganun iyong feeling noon!” Jericho described what he felt back then.
In order to cope up with the uneasiness that he felt for being inexperienced compared to his co-actor, Jericho revealed that he had to drink a bottle of gin just to desensitize himself. After the scene, he said that he thought he did well because Johnny Delgada and Direk Laurice Gillen were happy.
Jericho Rosales also revealed what he did after that heavy scene. He went to his car and slept. He said that what was he did after a scene, sleep, because that took all his energy.
