PAGASA Says Easterlies to Bring Cloudy Conditions & Isolated Rains Over Parts of PH

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update on Saturday (March 6)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies would bring cloudy conditions and isolated rains over some parts of the country.

On Saturday (March 6, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The easterlies would affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.

Metro Manila entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands as well as Mindanao are also expected to experience the same weather condition due to the localized thunderstorms.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flashfloods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The coastal water conditions over Northern Luzon, Aurora Province, entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
