HEARTBREAKING STORY – A male netizen expressed his sadness and pain after his beloved grandmother passed away amid the massive flooding.
A Facebook user named Dennis Clavaton has shared his heartbreaking story after his grandmother passed away amid the flooding in their area. His post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Calavaton’s auntie identified as Lorna Revilla expressed her grief after her 80-year-old mom identified as Catalina Lazaro passed away during the devastation of Typhoon Ulysses. Their home has been submerged in flood due to the increase of water level in Marikina River.
The 45-year-old Lorna said that her mom felt fear and nervous due to the massive flooding. However, the disappointed lady noticed that her elderly mother was not breathing anymore and realized that she already passed away.
“Siguro po, natakot si Nanay sa pag-angat sa kanya dahil alam niyang baha na, ninerbiyos siya. So, mga 9 a.m. po, pagtingin ko po, hindi na siya humihinga,” Lorena said.
Revilla contacted Dennis to rush her mom at the hospital hoping that the grandma might survive. Unfortunately, a nurse who came to check the elderly woman confirmed that Nanay Catalina is already dead.
