Brave Policeman Saves Some Residents from Drowning in Floodwaters & Hailed as “Hero Cop” For His Act
A brave policeman identified as Patrolman Jayric Talosig has been hailed as a “hero cop” after saving some residents from drowning.
Talosig who is a member of the Special Weapon and Tactics as well as Ilagan City Police Station did not hesitate to brave the flood waters after he saw the SK chairman and its colleagues drowning in floodwaters. He showed an act of heroism amid the calamity.
The brave cop risked his own life just to save the SK official identified as Arnel Talaue and its colleagues who fell into the floodwater. The SK chairman of Marana 2nd in Ilagan City, Isabela together with his two colleagues were told not to cross the bridge but they refused to listen.
The three crossed the bridge amid the strong current of floodwaters and eventually fell into flood and asked for help. The policeman experienced extreme hardships just to save the victims from drowning.
The victims expressed their gratitude towards Talosig who risked his own life just to save them.

The hero police officer also reminded the public to listen and obey the orders of the authorities for their own safety.
