Lady Netizen Seeks Help to Rescue her Dad Hanging in Fence To Prevent Drowning in Flood

A lady netizen has shared the heartbreaking photo of her beloved trapped at the fence due to rising level of floodwaters.

A Facebook user named Ryanne Fernandez Carpio has shared the photo of her father who has been stranded on their fence because of the floodwaters. The photo earned various reactions from the social media users.

In the photo, it can be seen that Carpio’s dad is hanging after climbing their fence while trying to save himself from the flood. It can be noticed that the helpless man is struggling on his situation.

Carpio released an update on her father’s situation and announced that kind-hearted individuals have rescued her dad. The helpless dad is already safe but suffered a hand injury after hitting a sharp part of the fence.

The female netizen expressed her gratitude towards the kind-hearted people who contacted her offering help to rescue her father amid Typhoon Ulysses. The incident happened at 24 Magsaysay St., I.V.C., in Marikina City.

Update: Nakapasok na po ng bahay si papa. pero injured sya dahil natusok ang kamay nya sa mga tusoktusok sa gate. Nagpapahinga na po silang lahat. Apat po silang senior n nasa bahay at 1 bata at 3 adults. Sa ngayon po wala pa ding dumadating na rescue. mabuti na lang at bumababa na ang tubig. Salamat sa lahat ng tumulong. Sa lahat ng nagmessage, tumawag kahit hindi namin kakilala. sa mga nagalok tulong pinansyal.maraming maraming salamat po. hindi ko na po kayo iisaisahin dahil malolowbat na po ako at wala pa din pong kuryente.. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na sa ganitong panahon talagang may mga taong may mabubuting puso na handang tumulong sa paraan na kaya nila. God bless you all. Maraming salamat. Magingat po tayong lahat…
