What was the answer of Julia Barretto when asked about her aunts?
Newly-launched Viva Artists Agency’s talent Julia Barretto was asked about her aunts Gretchen and Claudine Barretto.
It is known to many showbiz fans that the Barretto clan is one of the most controversial showbiz families in the Philippines. Sister Gretchen and Claudine were able to reconcile but unfortunately, they are still in conflict with Marjorie Barretto, the mother of Julia.
For several times, Claudine and Gretchen have chosen other people over their niece. The Barretto sisters chose the side of Bea Alonzo when Julia was accused of cheating with Gerald Anderson.
Claudine even called Julia Montes “my Julia” but did not refer this to her niece. During the recent virtual press conference as an artist of Viva now, Julia Barretto was asked about her aunts.
“With all due respect, I don’t discuss anymore my personal relationship with my family members, love life,” she answered. She added that it is her personal choice not to discuss to the public anymore any relationship that she has.
Julia explained that this decision is from her desire to protect the people in her life. “Mas pinuprotektahan ko na po and privacy ko ngayon,” she said.
Does this mean she will not also answer questions about her rumored boyfriend Gerald Anderson?
Just recently, Julia showed support for Gerald when he posted a promotion for her private resort in Zambales. It will be recalled that allegedly, the rumored couple was spotted in the said property of the actor.
They went controversial also just recently when former broadcast journalist Jay Sonza claimed that they are already expecting a baby. Because of this, Julia Barretto decided to file a complaint against Sonza.
