Optimum Star Claudine Barretto called afternoon teleserye princess Julia Montes “my Julia” in her comment on Instagram.
It is known to many that Julia took her social media break along with showbiz hiatus since last holiday season. Now that she started posting again on her IG account, her fans got excited for her possible showbiz comeback soon. Her fellow celebrities also expressed how they miss her in the industry.
One of the celebrities who commented on the recent social media post of Julia is Claudine. In the comment of the Optimum Star, she called the younger actress “my Julia”. This received over a thousand likes from netizens, at the time of writing.
It is also known to many that there is another Julia in the life of Claudine Barretto, her niece Julia Barretto who also entered show business at a young age. However, Clau is not in good terms with her niece now, the daughter of her older sister Marjorie Barretto because of the longstanding feud between them which gained popularity once again just recently.

Reportedly, Claudine experienced disrespect from her niece Julia at the wake of their patriarch Miguel Barretto. Allegedly, the young actress cursed her aunt and according to previous reports many people heard that. However, Julia denied the allegations against her. The Optimum Star also gave a statement reiterating that the said incident really happened.
