Claudine Barretto has this statement about the feud with her sisters
Optimum star Claudine Barretto talked about the long-standing feud between her, Gretchen, and Marjorie Barretto.
Claudine and Gretchen were able to reconcile and reconnect her relationship as siblings. From that, they have shown support for each other. The drama actress even revealed in previous interviews that her Ate Greta has been helping her with her kids.
However, Greta and Clau haven’t reconciled with Marj. Their conflict even took a higher notch when their father died. The Barretto sisters had a commotion during the wake of their patriarch.
Because of that, past and present controversies were dug up against each other. That was also the time when Marjorie admitted that her youngest daughter is Recom Echiverri’s child. Meanwhile, she accused Gretchen of having an affair with businessman Atong Ang.
That incident with the Barretto sisters happened almost a year ago. During the recent guesting on Luchi Cruz-Valdes’ show, Claudine Barretto said that it saddened her to remember the death anniversary of their father on October 15, based on the article from PEP.
She said that their mom and dad are good parents and that they don’t deserve what is happening now with their children. Claudine stressed that their parents brought them up well and they were sent to prestigious schools.
For Claudine, it is quite impossible for her and her sisters to patch things up between them. She added that she stopped praying that a reconciliation will happen among the Barretto sisters.
The Optimum also said that it is better for them to be apart from each other in order to avoid conflict. She also mentioned that what is happening in their relationship as sisters might be due to a generational curse. Claudine Barretto believed that she and her sister are paying the wrong act that their ancestors might have committed.
