Claire Castro Birthday Greeting For Sara Duterte Using Madriaga’s Video Screenshot

Claire Castro showcased a printed copy of Sara Duterte’s supposed video greeting for Ramil Madriaga

Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary Claire Castro had this birthday greeting for Vice President Sara Duterte using Ramil Madiaga’s video screenshot.

Madriaga confessed that he was the “bagman” of Duterte. He emerged as a central whistleblower and witness in the ongoing impeachment proceedings against the Vice President.

Behind Madriaga’s strong claim about his supposed deep ties with the Duterte, the Vice President denied all the accusations against her. She stressed that she had no personal relationship with the former counter-intelligence agent.

However, Madriaga showed a video greeting showing that VP Sara was holding up a sign greeting her alleged former aide, a happy birthday, to contradict what she said that there was no personal connection between them.

A screenshot of that controversial video was used by Usec. Claire Castro to greet VP Sara Duterte.

Malacañang Claire Castro

During a recent press briefing, Castro was asked if the Malacanang Palace had a birthday greeting for the Vice President. Duterte’s birthday was on May 31.

Castro mentioned that it can be recalled that back in December, VP Sara said that she would not greet President Bongbong Marcos with a “Merry Christmas” because she was not sure if his attitude would change.

“Pero hindi po tayo ganiyan, at siya po ay ating babatiin, at gagayahin ko po ang kaniyang pagbati ng maligayang kaarawan,” the Undersecretary said.

After saying that, Castro showed the members of the media the screenshot from Madriaga’s video. Ramil Madriaga’s name was crossed out, and it was replaced by the Vice President’s name, which read, “Happy Birthday, VP Sara.”

Here’s the video from ABS-CBN News.

As of this writing, Vice President Sara Duterte has yet to react to this birthday greeting from the PCO Undersecretary.
