Paulo Avelino talked about his new series
Kapamilya actor Paulo Avelino stressed that his action scenes in his new TV series Walang Hanggang Paalam are not for “pa-macho effect”.
Paulo’s new project was initially titled Burado. Although there was a change in the title and the cast members, he said that it is basically the same because the same script will be followed.
Based on the article from the Philippine Ultimate Showbiz Hub, the actor is thankful that the project has pushed through even though there were obstacles.
However, the initial plan of shooting in different countries in Southeast Asia will no longer be possible because of the pandemic and they had to do adjustments on this aspect.
Paulo Avelino also shared a glimpse of who will be his character in the series. “Ako dito si Emmanuel Salvador na anak ni tito Ronnie (Lazaro) at kapatid ni McCoy (De Leon). Isa akong ex-NIA agent na natanggal sa trabaho dahil sa mga hindi inaasahang pangyayari. At dahil dun, doon nagsimula ang problema ng lahat,” he said.
The lead actor also said that somehow he can relate to his character as he already has a son also. “I wouldn’t say it’s similar. Siguro may hawig. May anak rin naman ako and alam ko din yung pakiramdam. Para yun na rin yung piang-ba-basehan ko siguro,” he added.
Furthermore, he shared that he likes doing the action scenes. This will show the audience that he can do more than just drama sequences. He also stressed that action scenes are not intended to make him look “macho”.
“I enjoyed doing action scenes hindi naman para pa-macho effect pero na-enjoy ko siya,” he said. The actor explained that since he does not how to dance, it is his way of like showing that he dances because of the routines and maneuvers they do while doing the action scenes.
Also included in the cast are Zanjoe Marudo, Angelica Panganiban, Arci Munoz, Jake Cuenca, JC Santos, Tonton Gutierrez, Lotlot de Leon, Ronnie Lazaro, McCoy De Leon, Mary Joy Apostol, Sherry Lara, Victor Silayan, Javi Benitez, and Cherry Pie Picache.
The new series of Paulo Avelino is set to premiere on Monday (September 28) at 9:20 PM on cable and satellite TV via Kapamilya Channel.
