Woman Expresses Frustration Over Health Center’s Handling of Relative’s Medical Emergency

Woman Slams Health Center’s Handling of Relative’s Medical Emergency in Negros Occidental

A woman from Talisay City, Negros Occidental has expressed her grief and frustration following the death of her uncle.

Recently, Ronalyn Panerio Estimoso, a Facebook user, shared her concerns online after her uncle was brought to the Talisay City Health Center due to high blood pressure. She believes that her uncle did not receive proper medical attention at a local health center.

According to Estimoso, the patient initially sought treatment for elevated blood pressure but later began experiencing more serious symptoms, including difficulty breathing and severe stomach pain.

Estimoso claimed that while her uncle’s condition was worsening, he was only given medication. She alleged that despite his breathing difficulties, he was not provided with oxygen support.

As the hours passed, the family reportedly became increasingly concerned as they observed no significant improvement in his condition.

According to her post, the patient remained at the facility for several hours before medical personnel eventually advised the family to transfer him to a hospital in Silay City. The recommendation reportedly came after efforts to stabilize his blood pressure were unsuccessful.

The family believes that the transfer should have been arranged much earlier, especially after the patient began showing signs that his condition was becoming more serious. Estimoso expressed disappointment over what she described as delayed action, saying that the family felt helpless as they watched their loved one’s health continue to decline.

Unfortunately, the patient passed away, leaving relatives devastated and searching for answers. In her emotional post, Estimoso questioned the level of care that was provided and called for a review of the services offered at the health center.

Ronalyn also appealed to local officials to look into the matter and determine whether improvements are needed in the facility’s emergency response procedures.
