Its Showtime apologized over error during “Piling Lucky” statement.
ITS SHOWTIME – February 27 episode of Its Showtime suffered an error while airing live on television and here’s what they did.
ABS-CBN’s noontime show, It’s Showtime, has been giving us entertainment for many years now. And since then, they have been airing live. As much as we are all aware of, aside from the hosts we see everyday, there are people behind to complete the team and deliver quality show.
And yesterday, an error unexpectedly happened during the “Piling Lucky” segment. The jackpot player Ginalyn Canillo was tasked to choose one painting and this painting contained the price she will get. She chose one and what’s inside for her to take home is a 5-kilogram rice.
Hosts Vice Ganda, Jugs Jugueta, Ryan Bang, and Teddy Corpuz then tried to find where the jackpot prizes were place. They were able to find where the Php 550,000.00 is but not the negosyo package until they have opened all paintings and none of it contained the other prize.
A representative from ABS-CBN’s internal audit was asked to come up the stage but still to no avail. To iron out things, Vice cut off the show for a commercial break saying, “Mamaya po ay ipapaliwanag nila sa inyo, sa ngayon po ay magpa-pause muna tayo. Siyempre, kailangang i-explain nila yan. They have to explain.”
And for the mistake that happened, the show apologized hrough its director Bobet Vidanes and the management decided to give the negosyo package to the contestant.

Mikay Cabigayan: Nanginginig na yung labi ni Ate, kawawa naman sya. I’m sure napagalitan yan.
Adrian Flores: Kawawa yung auditor randam mong napagalitan sya ng husto o baka kaltas sa sweldo nya yung negosyo package. 😭😭
