Why Kids of Sunshine Cruz Uses “Cruz” As Screen Name Not “Montano”
SUNSHINE CRUZ – The actress explained why her kids with Cesar Montano are using “Cruz” as screen name and not “Montano”.
One of the controversial separation involving a celebrity couple is the breakup of Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz. Allegedly, the infidelity on the part of the actor has contributed to it.
Sunshine and Cesar have three (3) daughters – Angelina, Samantha, and Chesca. After their parents separated, they are living with their mother. She returned to acting to work for her family.
One of the recent offers to Sunshine Cruz is to endorse a direct marketing company for health and wellness products, Em-core Dotnet, together with her kids. They accepted the offer and, recently, a launching took place.
Based on a report on Pep, at the launching, the kids of Sunshine Cruz were introduced with “Cruz” as their screen name and not “Montano”. Meanwhile, the actress explained it.
According to Sunshine, it was the decision of Arnold Vegafria, her and her children’s talent manager. Meanwhile, she assured that the move sought the permission of Cesar.
“Desisyon ‘yan ni Arnold Vegafria. Kasi nga, yung careers nila, they’re more into singing. We all know that the Cruzes are mga musicians talaga,” the actress said.
Based on the report, Angelina, the eldest of the actress, is really determined to push through with a singing career. Sunshine revealed that she already has a contract with a recording label.
“So, di ba, pag Cruz, like si Donna Cruz, Yratorza ‘yan before, pero she also used Cruz. So, pag musician kasi, it’s an advantage for them as musicians,” she said.
Sunshine Cruz assured that her kids are still using Cesar Montano’s last name in real life. Based on the report, on the possibility of dropping the actor’s last surname as their surname, the actress stressed that she would really change her last name. On the part of her children, they are not changing it.
“Pero sila, mapapalitan ‘yan pag nag-asawa na sila, hindi na kailangan. Whether they like it or not, tatay naman nila ‘yan, hindi sila mabubuhay at magiging ganyan ang hitsura nila kung hindi dahil naman sa tatay nila,” she expressed.
