Former APO Hiking Society member Jim Paredes is set to have his music comeback after his “scandal” and this received various reactions from netizens.
Jim shocked the world of social media when videos and photos of his “scandal” surfaced. At first, he tried to deny that he was the man in the video and even called it “fake news”. However, he eventually admitted and said sorry for what happened.
Because of that, the bashing against him intensified, especially from the supporters of the present administration as he is known to be a critic of President Rodrigo Duterte. Amid the controversy, several celebrities showed support for him. With what happened, the veteran singer-composer was forced to lie low.
For several months, he was not seen on TV but now, he is making a comeback to the music industry. Based on his recent interview with News5, Jim Paredes confirmed that he will not continue doing music. “You know, I just want to… We make music. I’m just an artist. I come up with stuff, you know. Enjoy them at your pleasure,” he said.
He also said that he is grateful and hopeful that he will do again what he loves to do – “write the soundtrack of their love lives, their life as they get old, their milestones in their lives, marriage, everything.” Jim added that it is his aim even before.
