However, some of the Filipino priests and bishops are not in good terms with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
The Catholic priests find the Davaoeño president’s way of managing the country too harsh. They are against Duterte’s “drug war” campaign and criticism towards the church and its clergy.
Following a previous article, photos of priest initiating alleged witchcraft in the street went viral on social media.
It can be seen on the viral photo that there was a coffin and a photo of the President placed on the floor with candles.
Now, a video of the Catholic priests spraying Holy water and incense in front of the Senate compound emerged online.
On the caption of Twitter video shared by ABS-CBN News, the priests who were there are Fathers Noel Gatchalian, Emanuel Mengito, and Robert Reyes.
It can be seen on the video that Catholic priests were praying for the stronger institution and its members.
