Netizen Expresses Dismay to Police Officer Playing Mobile Game During Work Hours
A netizen filed a complaint against a police officer who was allegedly playing a mobile game while on duty and ignoring a request for assistance.
Recently, the Facebook page Silinyador-PH shared a photo of the police officer allegedly playing a mobile game during working hours. The post quickly went viral and drew various reactions from members of the online community.
According to the complainant, they approached the officer to seek assistance regarding a person allegedly causing trouble near their area. The incident reportedly took place close to the officer’s station in the Kalaw area.
However, despite repeatedly trying to get the officer’s attention, the complainant claimed that their concerns were ignored.
The netizen later noticed that the officer was allegedly busy playing Mobile Legends on a cellphone instead of addressing the situation being reported. It prompted the complainant to question whether such activity was appropriate during working hours, especially while members of the public were seeking help.
The sender who submitted the complaint also requested anonymity, saying they feared for their safety. The complainant expressed frustration over what they described as a lack of concern for citizens who rely on law enforcement during times of need.
Many netizens said that police officers have an important responsibility to serve and protect the public and should remain focused on their duties while on the job.
