Malacañang Declares July 2 As Special Non-Working Day in Pasig City

JULY 2 – The Malacañang Palace declared July 2, 2019 (Tuesday) as a special non-working day in Pasig City.

Aside from the regular holidays in the Philippines, there are also other days declared as special non-working days by Malacañang or by the local government in a certain area.

Often, the declaration of special non-working days is either in line with a bad weather for the safety of the students or a celebration of an important event in the place.

Recently, the Malacañang Palace released a proclamation over a special non-working day in a part of the Philippines tomorrow.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, July 2 (Tuesday) was declared as a special non-working day in Pasig through the Proclamation No. 758.

The declaration is in line with the celebration of the 446th founding anniversary of Pasig City

According to Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdia, the suspension of work in Pasig is to give full opportunity for the people to participate in the celebration.
