POLICE OFFICER – PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde awarded the police officer involved in viral taho incident at MRT.
Last Saturday, a Chinese woman named threw her cup of taho at a police officer at the Manila Metro Rail Transit (MRT). It was after she was told to leave her drink because it’s already prohibited to bring any liquid drinks at the station.
Following a previous article, the Chinese national named Jiale Zhang was brought to the police station because of disrespecting PO1 William Cristobal.
The Chinese woman is currently facing charges disobedience to a person in authority, unjust vexation, and direct assault.
In a report, the Philippine government officials gave their statements regarding the incident at the MRT involving the police and the foreigner.
The awarding ceremony was initiated together with the Flag Raising Ceremony and the launching of the “Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terrorismo” at the Camp Crame in Quezon City.
The Cristobal was given a Medal of Commendation for his keeping his temper despite the disrespectful actions of the Chinese woman towards him.
The actions of PO1 William Cristobal just proves that the police officers nowadays were won’t get easily angered and could face any kind of situation.
According to the post, Cristobal stated that he was humiliated by the Chinese national but he chose to keep silent and let the law prevail.
The police officials and fellow policemen obviously felt very proud PO1 William Cristobal. He is a very good example of all the police officers in the country.
