CHINESE WOMAN – Foster parents in the Philippines of the Chinese woman asked for public’s forgiveness.
23-year-old Chinese national named Jiale Zhang was arrested last February 9 after throwing her cup of “taho” at a PO1 William Cristobal at the Metro Rail Transit (MRT).
Zhang splashed her drink to the officer after being told about the no-liquid policy at the train station.
The photo of the Chinese woman and the Filipino police officer went viral on social media. Netizens expressed their dismayed reaction to the foreigner.

On the other hand, the Bureau of Immigration filed a case last Tuesday to deport Jiale Zhang.
The Chinese woman spoke about the incident and claimed that she was just in a bad mood. The foreigner also apologized for what she did to the cop.
Meanwhile, the foster parents of Zhang appealed to all the Filipinos who got mad to the Chinese actions.

He revealed that the Chinese woman has been sick for a few days. She isolated herself in her room and worried about her school assignments.
“Nang makaramdam ng kaunting lakas ay lumabas ito sa kaniyang tirahan para mamili ng kaniyang kagamitan sa school, siya man ay nagulat sa kaniyang ginawa at labis na nagsisi,” he said
According to the report, the foster parent tried to beg for the forgiveness of the people and said some good things about the Chinese woman.
He said Zhang is just stressed about her studies and she has no other relatives here in the Philippines who will defend her.
