Bianca Umali has a new major acting project
Kapuso actress Bianca Umali expressed excitement about her upcoming Star Cinema project alongside former couple and on-screen partners Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto.
Bianca started young in the entertainment industry. She officially signed an exclusive contract with GMA Network when she was just 9 years old.
From being a child star, she became one of the prominent leading ladies of the Kapuso network. Bianca continued to showcase her acting caliber with various roles, and her most recent project is a movie featuring the JoshLia team-up.
In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, September 8, she discussed being part of “Always Yours, Never Mine.” The film is directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana and is scheduled for release in cinemas nationwide on September 30.
“It is my first Star Cinema [movie]. That’s why it’s so exciting. One of the films that I grew up watching are films from Star Cinema also. Again, sa pag-aartista isa ‘yan sa mga pangarap mong makatrabaho.” Bianca Umali said.
When she got the initial offer, the Kapuso actress admitted that when she got the initial offer, her heartbeat went faster. She also said that she was excited for the project, to talk with people from Star Cinema, the film company of ABS-CBN, and to read the material.
Bianca shared that the material was the primary reason she agreed to accept the project offer. “Sinisigurado ko that it is healthy both for me and for the project for me to be part of it,” the Kapuso actress said.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Bianca Umali revealed the reason why she put her college education on hold. She said that it was because she sent her cousin to school. The actress supported her cousin financially.
