Malacañang Palace has declared class suspensions in the City of Talisay, Negros Occidental, based on the newly-released proclamation.

The local government of Talisay City in Negros Occidental declared Monday (February 11, 2019) as a special non-working holiday in the area.

The suspensions of classes have been declared due to the celebration of the city’s 21st charter anniversary.

The government aims to give full opportunity to the people of Talisay City to participate in the event with appropriate ceremonies.

The special non-working holiday was based on the Proclamation No. 661 approved by Executive secretary Salvador C. Medialdea.

The proclamation has been already approved by President Rodrigo Duterte before it was done in Manila City last February 6, 2019.
