Phivolcs Records La Union Hit by 2.4 Magnitude Earthquake
EARTHQUAKE – The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded a 2.4 magnitude quake in La Union.
Recently, several quakes have hit parts of the Philippines. Among are the four(4) quakes that consecutively hit Occidental Mindoro and the 3.4 magnitude quake in Nueva Vizcaya.
Just this morning, another quake has hit a part of the country. Phivolcs has already released the details regarding the quake.
Based on the bulletin posted by Phivolcs on its Twitter account, a 2.4 magnitude earthquake hit La Union at 07:46 in the morning today, December 20, 2018.

According to Phivolcs, the quake was located 16.56°North, 120.29°E – 006 km North 54° West of Bauang in La Union and it has a depth of focus of 011 km. The quake is tectonic in origin.
Furthermore, it is also stated that no damage is expected of the quake that hit La Union. No aftershock
