Dennis Trillo left a reminder to people after his son was involved in an accident.
Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo is relieved that, despite the accident, his son Calix is safe and did not sustain major injuries.
In a post, Dennis Trillo expressed his relief after his eldest son, Calix, was safe despite the accident that left the car a total wreck. According to him, he got figured in a serious car accident after allegedly falling asleep behind the wheel.
Fortunately, Calix did not sustain major injuries despite the vehicle being heavily damaged. He dozed off while behind the wheel, leading the car to crash and eventually become totaled. It was a frightening experience, but Dennis remained thankful that Calix was safe and survived without life-threatening injuries.
He is also thankful that no other car or people got involved in the accident.
This has then led him to emphasize the importance of resting before driving and urged everyone not to force themselves to stay on the road when they are already tired.
In a now-deleted Facebook post on Monday, May 25, he shared, “Kaninang 5AM, nakatulog habang nagda-drive mag-isa ‘yung panganay ko. Bumangga siya sa island at tumaob ‘yung kotse. Total wreck. Walang tinamaang kotse o ibang tao, may pasa sa ulo, braso, at maga ang kaliwang kamay.”
He then added, “Hindi lahat ganito kaswerte sa aksidente. Salamat po at gan’un lang ang nangyari. Lesson: pag inaantok, wag piliting mag-drive. Pwedeng mag stop over muna, para mag unat unat o umidlip.”
Calix is the son of Dennis and his former partner, Carlene Aguilar. Earlier in March, he earned the Rookie of the Year title during the UAAP Season 88 Men’s Fencing tournament. The Kapuso actor also has a daughter named Dylan with his wife, Jennylyn Mercado.
