DENNIS TRILLO – A terrifying incident involving Dennis Trillo’s son Calix prompted the actor to remind drivers about the dangers of driving while sleepy.
Actor Dennis Trillo recently shared an emotional experience involving his son, Calix, after the young athlete was involved in a road accident while driving alone in the early hours of the morning. According to Dennis, Calix fell asleep behind the wheel while driving by himself before dawn. The accident caused the vehicle to hit an island barrier and overturn. The actor described the frightening situation in a now-deleted social media post.
“Bumangga siya sa island at tumaob ‘yung kotse. Total wreck,” Dennis said in his post, which was later deleted.
Fortunately, no other vehicles or individuals were involved in the accident. Despite the severity of the crash, Calix only sustained minor injuries, including bruises on his head and arm, along with swelling in his left hand. For Dennis and their family, the outcome was something to be deeply thankful for, considering how much worse the situation could have been.
“Hindi lahat ganito kaswerte sa aksidente. Salamat po at ganun lang ang nangyari,” Dennis added.
The actor’s message quickly resonated with many people online, especially drivers who understand the dangers of fatigue while on the road. Dennis used the experience to remind motorists that driving while sleepy can lead to life-threatening consequences.

Calix is Dennis’ son with former partner Carlene Aguilar. The young athlete recently gained recognition after being named Rookie of the Year in the UAAP Season 88 Men’s Fencing Tournament, an achievement that brought pride and inspiration to his family and supporters.
