Pokwang shared this lengthy post answering her basher
Comedienne Pokwang slammed a basher who degraded her and called her “artista lang.”
Pokie, as she is fondly called in showbiz, already had her fair share of intrigues and issues, as well as her fierce encounters with her bashers on social media, especially when she would share her thoughts on social and political issues.
In a recent post on her Instagram Story, based on the article in Abante, Pokie did not hesitate to slam a basher. She was tagged as “artista lang, bob0, at walang aral.”
“Oo Artista lang ako kaya naiahon ko pamilya ko sa hirap kagaya ng ibang nangangarap. kapag may audition sa kahit anong bagong shows DIBA ang pila ay aabot na sa bahay mo dahil sa haba? kasi nga maraming gusto maging artista lang,” she stresssed.
She also said that bashers would often say this to showbiz personalities if they don’t want them to speak about their grievances and point out their rights, just like other Filipinos.
Pokie highlighted that showbiz personalities can do a lot of other things, like being an author, a music composer, and many more.
She pointed out that they should not be diminished because during political campaigns, politicians wanted to get their service, either free or paid, because they are the ones who bring laughter and entertainment.
“Artista lang ako bob0 kaya yung paaralan mo kung saan ka man publiko nag aral at kalsada na nilalakaran mo ay galing sa tax ko,” she said.
Then, the comedienne had this question to the basher, “Oo artista lang ako bobo di kagaya mo nag aral nakapag tapos pero ang tanong, ginamit moba pinag aralan mo?”
It was said that Pokwang received praise from netizens for standing up for herself and for her fellow showbiz personalities.
