REGINE VELASQUEZ – Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez defended by husband Ogie Alcasid’s ex-wife Michelle Van Eimeren against criticisms.

A certified Kapamilya now after 20 years of being under the GMA network is Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez. Her decision to transfer network had sparked criticisms from her bashers.

Due to numerous negative and hate comments received, she has posted an open letter dedicated to her bashers who never liked her decision to transfer to the Kapamilya network.

In the letter, she has expressed, “Lumipat lang po ako ng network hindi ako pumatay ng tao. Again I’m grateful for my 20 years in GMA I made a lot of friends there and [I] have great memories being a [Kapuso].”

Even the Broadway Diva Lea Salonga reacted to it saying, “You owe no one any explanations for the move to ABS. Ang mga bashers, hindi nila alam ang totoong pagkatao mo.”

And now, her husband Ogie Alcasid‘s ex-wife, former beauty queen Michelle Van Eimeren also reacted and defended the now Kapamilya singer Regine Velasquez.

In a comment, Eimeren has indicated:

I am so sorry that those small minded people say such awful, hurtful words. You are a beautiful soul [Regine Velasquez] there is a great deal more for you to offer this world. There is a reason that God chose for you to take this role, and your kindness and tolerance shows beyond any measure your enlightenment above those clearly needing to learn the meaning of love and respect. I am truly happy that I got to see the joy and happiness within you on your visit, don’t allow these negative people to diminish in any way this new chapter in your life. Allow that joy and your incredible talent to be shared with those that appreciate most. You know we can’t please everyone, but that’s on them and not you my dear friend. I am always here for you and loved you as a sister, you are my family. You can get through this, you have many by your side that love you so very much, remind yourself of that each day.
