The post is from a netizen on Twitter Gibby Gores to where the netizen’s claim indicated, “The bar discriminates against LGBT persons. They violate people’s rights to entry. This bar should not have a place in Makati or anywhere in the country.”

This had come from the post of KaladKaren Davila, the impersonator of broadcaster Karen Davila.

“BAWAL ANG BAKLA: Last night, my friends and I were denied entry to H&J Sports Bar and Restaurant in Poblacion, Makati dahil bawal raw po pumasok ang mga “BAKLA”. HINDI dahil sa DRESS CODE or whatever, pero dahil BAKLA po kami. Totoo ba, dear??? 2018 na! Gumising na tayo! #LGBT members and Allies, mga sis, this is one of the many reasons why we need protection! Tama ba ito?” KaladKaren wrote.

Thus, Dingdong responded to the matter where he has said, “Yung mga may-ari at ang bouncer (na malamang ay sumusunod lang sa utos), ang mga dapat ma-educate sa kahalagahan ng SOGIE equality bill.”

According to Divina Law, the SOGIE Equality Bill or Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression “SOGIE” Equality bill is “An Act Prohibiting Discrimination on the Basis of Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity or Expression (Sogie) and Providing Penalties Therefor”.
