Philippines-China Alliance – Former Philippine National Security Adviser Roilo Golez made a paper discussion of the hypothetical scenarios in case Philippines would shift its alliance.
In the discussion entitled A Security Scenario for the Philippines Assuming the Country Shifts Alliances and Joins the China Orbit, Golez made emphasis on certain things that might happen – he also noted them as ‘very hypothetical’.
Recently, it is an undeniable fact that Pres. Rodrigo Duterte expressed great disappointment towards the allied country of the Philippines – the United States. There are even assumptions of possible shifts of alliance.
