The Miss Universe 2013 is the 62nd edition of the world’s most prestigious beauty pageant which will be hosted by Moscow, Russia. The celebration of showcasing the world’s most beautiful women will start on October 20-24 as various representatives will arrive in Moscow. Miss Ariella “Ara” Arida will represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe 2013 beauty pageant.
Miss Universe 2012 title-holder Olivia Culpo of the United States will crown the winner of the Miss Universe 2013 during the coronation night to be held on November at the Crocus City Hall. The highlights and coronation night will be shown through live telecast via NBC and Telemundo.
Russia’s hosting of the Miss Universe beauty pageant will be the first time for the former capital of Communism, the Soviet Union. Aside from hosting the Miss Universe 2013, Moscow will also host the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
