Celebrity Robi Domingo reacts on “strategic partnership” of PH & China?
ROBI DOMINGO REACTS – The prominent male host Robi Domingo made a social comment amid the issue of the deals signed between the country and China.
Chinese President Xi Jinping state visit will be from November 20 until November 21. This is his first visit to the country in 13 years. And 29 agreements have been signed already by Manila and Beijing on the first day of Chinese President’s two-day state.
“Given the profound and complex changes in the world, good-neighborliness and friendship is the only right choice for China and the Philippines,” he said. He also furthered that his country is willing to work with the Philippines for “greater progress in relations”.
Among the 29 signed deals, one involves cooperation on oil and gas development – an “MOU on cooperation on oil and gas development between the Philippines and China” as per ABS-CBN’s report.
Some say it is a “debt trap”. And the prominent Kapamilya host Robi Domingo has expressed a social comment amid the issues.
“Philippines is my home. Sorry, it’s not for sale,” he said in a Twitter post.

And here are some of the comments of the netizens from the post:
@thereisanocean: Who’s selling? Know the specifics of the agreement. It’s about time that Pinas step up its game … for now, China! Next, the WORLD!
@PowpzEleganza: Gago. Puro utang nga tayo sa China. Saang kamay ng demonyo kukuhin pambayad don? Syempre sa atin. Ieexploit nila natural resources natin at the same ibabaon tayo sa utang! Anong gusto mong sabihin na “Next, the World”? Anong gusto mong sabihin. Dimunyu ka.
@junrebs: It’s a done deal bro [Robi Domingo] pinirmahan na kanina ni winnie the pooh ang deed of sale. We are now province of China.
What can you say about it?
