ABS-CBN, GMA Network Celebrities’ Tribute Performances for Rico Puno
RICO PUNO – The late Filipino singer, Rico Puno, was paid tribute performances by the ABS-CBN and GMA network.
The OPM Legend, Rico Puno, died at the age of 65. His daughter Tosca Camille Puno said he died of cardiac arrest.
His death brought sadness to a lot of people most especially his family, friends, and fans of the legendary singer.
Puno is loved by his fellow celebrities and they paid tribute to him by performing all his chart-topper songs.
The ABS-CBN and GMA network celebrities paid tribute performances for the OPM Legend Rico Puno.
Based on the report from PEP, Tosca Camille Puno was interviewed in Santuario de San Antonio, Forbes Park last November 2.
She said she watched the performance of the ABS-CBN’s program It’s Showtime’s tribute for Puno on the television.
Camille appreciated their tribute performance and cried saying that she’s glad that her brother Rox got to join them.
“Thankful din ako na they invited my brother. I’m sure, Papa is very happy. Thank you. Ambait po nila… It was really beautiful!” she said.
According to the report, Tosca revealed that Rico J. Puno really loved the singers Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez.
“Na-touch ako kay Sir Ogie… Marami ring nagsabi sa akin na na-touch sila sa sinabi ni Sir Ogie sa Showtime.
“Tapos, he even acknowledged Papa na close to God. Maraming natuwa sa sinabi ni Sir Ogie!” she added.
Aside from the Kapamilya network, the GMA network and artists also paid tribute to the OPM Legend Rico Puno.
