Rico J. Puno’s Last Moments Before He Died Shared by Daughter Tosca Puno
TOSCA PUNO – Rico J. Puno’s daughter Tosca Puno recalled the last moments of her late father before the OPM legend died.
Recently, the family, friends, and fans and supporters of OPM legend Rico J. Puno have to deal with a very sad news. The actor-singer passed away, Tuesday, October 30, 2018.
Rico J. Puno died of cardiac arrest. Anna Puno, his sister-in-law and manager, confirmed the death of the singer as she requested for prayers for him from the members of the entertainment industry.
Rico J. Puno has a heart condition. In 2015, he went through an open-heart surgery and then two years after, in 2017, he got an angioplasty. Recently, the Filipino veteran singer got a new pacemaker.
Rico J. Puno’s death came as a surprise not only to the public but even to his children based on MJ Felipe’s interview with his daughter, Tosca Puno. She recalled the last moments of her father before he died.
According to Tosca Puno, the heart rate of Rico J. Puno increased so he was brought to the hospital. The OPM legend experienced “heavy breathing”.
“Nahihirapan siyang huminga. Mga 12 ng madaling araw and then a few minutes, my cousin called sabi niya, ‘Ate nire-revive na si Tito,’” she said.
Based on the report, the family of Rico J. Puno is used to go home with him after a check-up. They were surprised that after it, they won’t anymore be going home with the OPM legend.
According to Tosca Puno, when they were in St. Lukes, Rico J. Puno is still into music. The daughter of the veteran singer shared that he even asked on when would be the taping for the station ID.
“He loves music. He would go to his room, put on YouTube and sing, hanggang madaling araw,” Rico’s daughter said.
Based on the report, Tosca Puno expressed during the interview that she would really miss her dad, Rico J. Puno, but she knows she has to accept that he is gone.
