Alexa Ilacad Leads the Fight Against Shame and Online Exploitation
ALEXA ILACAD – More fearless than ever, Alexa Ilacad headlines a powerful new series that shines a spotlight on the struggles of women who become victims of privacy violations.
Actress Alexa Ilacad takes on one of her most courageous roles yet in the new iWant original series Miss Behave, which officially premieres today, June 3. Ahead of its much-anticipated release, the cast and creators gathered for a Blue Carpet Premiere, giving audiences an exclusive first look at the series.
In the show, Alexa portrays Marla Briones, a top-achieving student whose carefully maintained reputation is shattered when her private photos are leaked across campus. The scandal becomes a life-changing ordeal that forces her to confront public humiliation and personal trauma.

Joining Alexa in the series are Xyriel Manabat, Reign Parani, Andi Abaya, and Rans Rifol, who portray young women caught in the same controversy. Despite their differences, the characters unite to seek justice and uncover the person responsible for spreading the scandal.
Beyond its revenge-driven storyline, Miss Behave aims to shed light on the real-life struggles faced by women who become victims of privacy violations and online exploitation.
“We made it with so much heart and pure intentions. Inaalay namin ito sa lahat ng kabataan at kababaihan na dumanas sa pinagdaanan ng mga karakter namin.
“This is for the victims and survivors of such incidents,” shared Alexa
The actress also shared how the project reflects her personal growth and willingness to take on more challenging roles.
“One thing about me na I think people can tell naman na is palaban naman po talaga ako.
“At bukod sa palaban, ang word of my life ngayon ay matapang na ako. So that’s what I had to channel for Miss Behave, kailangan ko siya tapangan. Kung gagawin ko ‘to, it’s all in or nothing at all,” said Alexa.

Director Ivan Andrew Payawal emphasized the relevance of the series in today’s society.
“Dapat mapanood ito ng maraming tao kasi bukod sa tema ng aming palabas, it’s very relevant now.
“The issues that we are tackling are happening in real-life. Our show is a safe zone for everybody,” he said.
Also starring in the series are JC Alcantara, Akira Morishita, Raven Rigor, Zach Castañeda, LA Santos, and Zach Guerrero. Viewers can watch the first episode of Miss Behave for free on iWant beginning June 3.
